Anyone who knows me can tell you that I am a sucker for luxury spa treatments. It all falls into the “take care of the body that takes care of you” category for me. I’m always looking for new treatments to take care of my body and keep it as healthy and alive as long as God provides me with the knowledge and resources to make it possible.
Living in South Florida, you’ll see that most of the population is all into taking care of their bodies. Gyms, spas, health treatment spa are all around. July and August is my favorite time of the year since the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau hosts Miami Spa Month. During the months of July and August, they provide guest the opportunity to indulge at some of Miami’s most luxurious spas for a fraction of the cost. I don’t know about you, but I am a sucker for a deal that will let me enjoy my luxuries for a deal. I’ve outlined 4 of the best spa deals that I plan on taking advantage of. I think you should take advantage as well.
1. Lapis Spa of Fontainebleau
This is number one on my list because I have been dying to go to this particular spa. Last year, my husband and I did a couples treatment at another Miami spa and had an amazing experience, but if Fontainebleau had availability when we booked, we would’ve been here. Fontainebleau has a 40,000-square-foot spa and a fantastic spa deal for a treat during the workweek (Monday through Thursday). I’m most interested in the aromatic 80-minute Swedish massage, 80-minute exfoliating facial, and 100-minute head-to-toe rescue, however, I’ll most likely opt for the “The Perfect Pair” package, which offers a choice of two treatments in one day for $199. You can plan a wellness day around this deal with access to all the spa’s amenities, Fontainebleau’s pool, beach, and gym for the day.
2. Tierra Santa Healing House at Faena Hotel Miami Beach
The spa at Faena Hotel, known as the Tierra Santa Healing House has an amazing deal this year. You can get a 50-minute coconut massage for a price of $139. You start your spa treatment with a DIY ritual which includes lathering up with a choice of muds, scrubs, butters, and oils. You’ll then proceed to the wet spa area and wet scrub rooms with showers to rinse off and relax before your treatment. Then comes the best part, the coconut massage, which uses virgin coconut oil all over your body. On top of all that all Spa Month guests receive a complimentary yoga or meditation class after their appointment. Another hotel and Spa Month deal that you can make a day out of. Treatments and services at Tierra Santa are usually priced upward of $300, so going during spa month, you’ll save over 50% on this treatment.
3. GUYandGIRL Spa at the Mondrian
Now the Mondrian is one of the most frequented hotels in Miami, and for Spa Month they have deals covering everything from facials to massages that are offered every day of the week. It’s looking like I’m going to opt for the “East Meets West Swe-Thai Massage,” which is a 50-minute experience that blends soft-tissue therapies and yoga-style stretching to relieve pain and increase flexibility all for $109. Hold on now, that’s not all: all treatments include a complimentary glass of bubbly, access to the thermal suite, and an all-day pass to the Mondrian’s pool deck. If you don’t get anything out of this, which I find hard to believe, the pool deck at the Mondrian has been rated pretty high as one of the best pools in the city.
4. The Spa by Themae at The Setai
Now The Setai Hotel has been rated several times as the #1 hotel in Miami Beach, and I can see why. The price of a room per night is up there for sure. At The Spa by Themae, you’ll find Paris-based cosmetics and spa experience by Themae. The spa rituals and skincare products are said to be created with extracts from four kinds of teas: red, white, green, and black. I am a tea lover so I’m all over this concept. Besides having amazing spa suites, steam rooms, and terrazzo soaking tubs that overlook the ocean, the Setai’s spa is offering a Spa Month deal on their signature massage for $139. On average, the hotel’s treatments are about $200 to $400. The 60-minute session will work the muscles and skin through firm strokes and comforting movements. After a massage, guests receive access to the hotel’s pool and private beach area.
So those are the treatments I will be trying. Let me know which spa you plan on going to. You have the whole month of July and August to indulge in these treatments.
P.S. If you have a credit card that offers a significant point offering on travel, you can greatly benefit from booking these treatments with that credit card depending on how the spa merchant is categorized. I’ll definitely be using my Chase Sapphire Reserve to get those points.
